The PTO plays a key role in supporting the students, staff and families of The Bridge Academy. This organization is comprised of parents/guardians of students and teachers at The Bridge Academy. All parents/guardians of Bridge students automatically become members of the PTO and are encouraged to participate in all events. The PTO supports and/or sponsors the social and “community building” aspects of the school. Some of these activities include family activities (Fall Family Festival and Ice Cream-Bingo), Teacher Appreciation Lunch, student achievement breakfasts, school dances, refreshments for community programs, and Graduation activities.
Social events are instrumental to helping students foster friendships outside of the classroom environment and help develop their social and advocacy skills. Equally important is the sharing and support parents/guardians enjoy on behalf of their children.
