The 7th Annual Gala - Reach for the Stars

Thanks to all who helped to make this year’s “Reach for the Stars” Gala on April 17th a great success, increasing our profits to just over $55,000 – a 15.5% increase over last year’s event!

The Gala featured silent and live auctions with items such as dinners, vacations, sporting events, jewelry, household items and more to bid on, a 50/50 raffle, an Incredible Edible raffle, wonderful food to graze on, and heartfelt testimonials by Bridge Academy students.

We are also pleased to announce that the school met the generous $5,000 matching challenge grant from the Bruce J. Heim Foundation by raising $13,450 -- $3,450 more than needed to meet the challenge-- during the Cash Appeal to raise funds towards the expansion of the school’s facilities.

The auctioneer, Zack Shelly of Jennings Auction Group, kept the pace of the evening lively. The Seviay String Trio played beautiful music, and the Trenton Country Club provided the perfect venue and wonderful food.
