The Sixth Annual Gala - Reach for the Stars

Thank you to all of our friends and sponsors who helped us raise over $80,000 at our 2008 Gala & Auction. Our next Gala will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Trenton Country Club in Ewing. We hope you will be able to join us to celebrate The Bridge Academy’s sixth year.

Individual and Corporate Sponsorships

You can become a corporate or individual sponsor of our annual fundraiser. Sponsorships are available from $1,000 to $10,000. The Bridge Academy is in need of at least three corporate sponsors at levels of $5,000 and above.

Donate Items

1.  Donate a silent or live auction item. All items must be new and can be in any price range. Examples include but are not limited to:

• Sporting event or entertainment tickets,
• Gift Certificates to stores, spas, golf courses, hotels, restaurants, beauty salons, theatres, and
• Jewelry, artwork, signed sports clothing, electronic equipment, games, wine, furniture, cars, vacation packages.

2.  Donate an item that can be included in an auction basket. All items must be new— suggested value of $10 to $50.

Buy Tickets

Tickets will be available for sale beginning in February, 2009. You will receive an invitation in the mail—return it promptly so you don’t miss out! Family and friends will want to purchase tickets too!  You can reserve a ticket for the event by emailing our Director of Development, Carrie Wainwright at carriew@comcast.net.

50-50 Raffle Tickets

Raffle tickets will be available for purchase in February 2009. You can purchase raffle tickets for the event by emailing our Director of Development, Carrie Wainwright at carriew@comcast.net.

Fire & Ice Raffle Tickets

New this year, tickets will be available for a limited edition ‘Fire & Ice’ raffle. An elegant 3 carat pink topaz and diamond necklace valued at over $1,000 can be yours for a chance costing just $50 per ticket. Underwrite

You can make a donation to help underwrite the cost of printing, postage, decorations, flowers, etc.  You can get more information about contributing to the event by emailing our Director of Development, Carrie Wainwright at carriew@comcast.net.

Volunteer

Volunteer to serve on one of the auction committees.  We need help with:

• Acquisitions
• Catalog
• Basket Assembly
• Administrative Tasks
• Publicity
• Set-up
• Decorations

All parents are encouraged to participate in the planning of this exciting fundraiser. Gala planning meetings are held at the school monthly before the event.
