Development Report

Thanks to the generous support of our parents, grandparents, board members, staff, friends, foundations and businesses, the school raised over $60,000 for our Annual Fund last year.  Proceeds from the Annual Fund support student activities not funded by tuition and the school’s “Build the Bridge Fund” to support the school’s future goal of moving to a larger home.

Of particular note was our successful $12,000 matching challenge grant. We needed to raise $24,000 to meet the challenge and exceeded that goal in new and increased gifts.

The 8th Annual Gala, held in April at the Trenton Country Club was also successful. Thanks to our many sponsors, advertisers, contributors and attendees, this past year’s Gala netted $46,000 for The Bridge Academy. The Bruce J. Heim Foundation of Metarie, Louisiana has generously supported our Gala for four years in a row with a $5,000 challenge grant towards facility improvements. We raised over $10,000 to match the foundation’s generous 2:1 challenge. Thanks to our many parent and staff volunteers who made this event so successful.
